An interdisciplinary presentation

What once emerged as a means of exchange has now come to signify something beyond its conventional function. Money is no longer merely a representation of economic value; it becomes a surface upon which traces of violence and erosion can be inscribed. This body of work is an attempt to engage with this very potential.The demons and their forces, having migrated from mountains and myths, now continue their existence within the mechanisms of economy and unequal social relations. Through narratives that seem to have been concealed for years within the bodies of banknotes, they represent forms of greed, domination, fear, poverty, anxiety, control, inequality, and oblivion.Stitching, within these works, is not an act of repair; it is a method of making rupture visible. Each passage of the needle disrupts the implicit social contract embedded in money and removes it from the cycle of consumption. No wound is concealed, nor is any promise of healing offered; rather, in these green and blue paintings, value is inscribed upon bodies before it is measured through numbers.
